In 1941, Gilbert Garnett founded Coast Paper in Vancouver, British Columbia, and commenced operations with an original team of seven. Today, Coast Paper Vancouver employs a divisional staff of 69, complimented by a corporate group of 26, who support the company's seven distribution centres across Canada. The Vancouver office/warehouse is located on the north arm of the Fraser River in south Vancouver, within close proximity to Hwy 99 and Vancouver International Airport. Our 92,000 square foot warehouse has a stocking capacity of 4,500 tons, holds inventory of over 4,700 distinctively different, specialty paper products, and is climate and humidity controlled to maintain product quality. Our fleet of eight Coast Paper owned and operated 5 ton delivery trucks, ensure we meet all "press-date" delivery requirements. Eight outside sales representatives provide strong customer focussed solutions in the Vancouver lower mainland, BC interior, and Vancouver Island markets. Committed to providing a superior product and customer service, these outside sales representatives are available to serve all customer needs and opportunities. Our internal support team, consists of eight inside sales representatives and four mill sales representatives, who work closely with our outside sales group and customers. Two sales specification representatives advise graphic designers and advertising agencies on paper requirements, and work closely with sample services to provide invaluable product knowledge and support, and prepare printed, and non-printed samples, promotional pieces, swatches, plain sheets, folders, and dummy books. Customers are encouraged to personally visit our warehouse outlet between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (closed for lunch 1 - 2:30p.m.), Monday to Friday, to buy stock items at wholesale, and discounted items at below cost.
