In 1976, Coast Paper expanded
its Alberta presence with the opening of the Edmonton division. The
mandate was to bring Coast Paper products and services to northern
Alberta, the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
In 1990, the Edmonton division relocated to a new custom designed
40,000 square foot distribution centre with a stocking capacity of
2,000 tons of distinctively different and specialty paper products. Located
in west Edmonton, the facility has a state-of-the-art climate control
system designed to maintain product quality through a wide variety of
weather conditions ensuring optimum pressroom performance. The fleet of
four Coast Paper owned and operated 5 ton delivery trucks, ensure we
meet customer "press date" delivery requirements.
Coast Paper's five sales representatives provide strong customer
focused solutions in greater Edmonton, northern Alberta, the Yukon and
Northwest Territories. Committed to providing superior product and
customer service, these sales representatives are available to serve
all customers' needs and opportunities from Edmonton to Whitehorse to
Yellowknife. Our internal support team consist of six inside sales
representatives and three mill sales representatives, who consistently
meet customer needs and opportunities. The credit and inventory
management staff in the Edmonton Division provide direction and support
to the other Coast Paper Divisions in Western Canada.
